Thread: Line up objects to a graphics grid

When Llsing Word's DTP design facilities to layout complex pages incorporating text, diagrams, clipart and pictures, you need help to line things up. On the View menu, select Toolbars, then Drawing. On the Drawing toolbar, click Draw, then Grid. In the Grid dialogue box, select 'Display gridlines on screen' and select one unit for both the vertical and horizontal spacing. Click OK. The grid can be used as a purely visual aid or you can make objects 'snap' to it and to one another.
