1. With your slideshow finished, animated and narrated, you can simply hit F5
and start the show. But there are a few clever options that will make it look better and run more smoothly. In Powerpoint 2003, click on Slide Show
then Set Up Show; in 2007, go to the Slide Show tab on the ribbon and click Set Up Slide Show.

2. Make sure your slideshow will run at the same resolution as your computer
screen by checking the slideshow resolution options. If the resolutions do not match, the results can look distorted. Choosing 'Use Current Resolution' will generally produce good results, but if you know the resolution used by the projector, choose it instead.

3. The same box includes a number of useful options. If you have more than
one display, the Multiple Monitors option makes it possible to show your notes on one. You can also choose which slides to use, and enable/disable narration and animations. If you added timings to the show, you can override these and advance each slide with the mouse.
