    Default Mouse does not work

Well, I have a desktop with a newly installed windows XP sp2, the problem is that it does not recognize any mouse ... and I've tried a few, to put it in the USB that should make a new hardware has been found or something like that in the old mouse port does not recognize it either in control panel / mouse hardware-empty, if I give add hardware after giving all the devices to display the screen freezes and you can not continue

I do not know that I can do to make it work somehow, I manage to accessibility options / mouse keys.

I do not know if a problem is software or hardware of the motherboard, this will happen before I took the computer to a computer shop and they changed the motherboard, after that was when you format and has never recognized the mouse I also installed the CD drivers for the motherboard but still does not work

Does anyone know what might be happening?

Test to rule out problems with a Linux Live CD

I rebooted a thousand times with the mouse in and out and tested in different USB’s: tries installing Linux if the mouse is moved, and out hardware

No need to install a Live CD is loaded into RAM without installing, so you can try without having to create or modify partitions on your hard disk. If you like, then you can choose to install

I have not tested it in the Linux CD, but I certainly try this afternoon and another thing to stress is that it is not a fault of the mouse, but I think it absolutely does not work any USB

Already installed the Linux live CD and neither will the mouse (USB), I believe that no one really goes USB’s, mouse reaches voltage lights because the light does nothing but:
