If you listen to a lot of music using Windows Media Player it can be useful to have an easy way to access its controls. Vista allows you to add a set of buttons in the bottom right-hand comer of the screen. Right-click on an empty part of the Taskbar (just to the right of the Start button is best). In the menu that appears click Toolbars and then, from the sub-menu, put a tick next to Windows Media Player. Now, whenever you Minimise Windows Media Player (by clicking the Minimize button in the top left of the window), the program will shrink down to a handy set of controls with a volume slider.
