Vista's Instant Search makes it easy to find anything by typing a keyword into the Search box in the Start menu. Nonnally, all the files in your User folders (including Documents, Music, Pictures and Video folders) will be included in your Instant Searches. If you have a large music or video collection stored on a separate hard disk, your computer may not be set up to keep an index of what it contains. To fix this, click Start, Control Panel, System and Maintenance then Indexing Options. Click on Modify and in the box that appears, select 'Show all Locations'. You can put a tick next to the whole disk or click the right pointing arrow and browse for a folder and tick this. Click OK and Close to finish.
