If you have a folder that contains a lot of files or subfolders, it can be tedious scrolling through them all to find the entry you're looking for. However, if you know its name there is a quick way to locate a specific file or folder without using the mouse. First open the relevant folder. Now, using the keyboard, simply type the first letter of the name of the file or folder you're looking for and the selection highlight will jump to the first fi Ie or folder that starts with that letter. The more letters you type, the closer you should get to the file you want.
