Thread: Get away from full screen programs (XP and Vista)

It's annoying when programs fill the screen, obscuring everything else. There is a way to get round this, even if the minimize button is disabled. Press the Alt and Tab keys together to select another window, or in Vista press Start and Tab to use the fancy Flip 3D interface. You can use the same technique to get back to the original program. This isn't recommended for 3D games as they may crash if you try to switch away.
