Rather than changing every single aspect of the Windows interface one by one, it's possible to radically change the entire look with one setting: the Windows Theme. Windows XP has two standard themes: Windows XP, which is the usual blue and green design, and Windows Classic, which looks more like Windows 98. To switch between them, right-click on the Desktop, select Properties, then choose from the dropdown menu. Windows Vista has a similar choice between a modern theme and a simpler businesslike one: to choose right-click the desktop, click Personalise, choose Theme and choose from the dropdown menu.
