Everyone starts out with a few icons on their Windows Desktop, but before long most of us end up with a mess of dozens of them. To clear them up, why not g'et some help from Windows? Right-click the desktop and choose 'Arrange Icons By' (in XP) or View (in Vista) and select the Auto Arrange and Align to Grid options. I f this doesn't do enough, XP has another trick: click 'Desktop Cleanup Wizard' in the same list for more help.
