If there's ajob that you need your computer to perform on a schedule, don't make a note in your diary: get Windows to do it. In XP click Start, All Programs,Accessories, System tools then Scheduled tasks to open the tool, then double-click Add scheduled task and follow the wizard. Note that this tool will not wo'rk properly unless the computer has User accounts with passwords. In Vista click Start, type Task Scheduler and press Enter, then click Create task.
