    Hi

Might be you have to Remove or stop the TSRs or any of the programs which are presently running before which the program caused the GPF.

    Hi Friends

I think you have to delete all program temporary files, Delete all the short-term files which may still be residing on the hard disk drive from present or last running programs.

You should try Running Scandisk / Defrag, Also try to make an attempt to run scandisk or defrag on the hard disk drive as it would be possible for your hard disk drive for causing the swap file or data files to become damage or invalid.

    Hi

First try to verify your computer has more than 200 MB available. If your computer might be running with low on hard disk space, then your Windows swap file will not be able to expand the size which is been needed, and will result in causing the programs to be swapped between the memory and the hard disk drive more regularly. When this occurs it is more likely that a GPF can also occur.

    Hi

Try to Disable external cache, If the CPU makes use of external caches try to disable it for the moment to prove if it is causing your GPF error messages. If accessible, you will be able to disable your external cache through CMOS.

If this resolves your issue it is not compulsory that you contact your manufacturer or else the motherboard / CPU manufacturer for additional recommendations and/or BIOS updates that may determine your issue.

    Hi

Try to Disable Power Management / Screen saver, If you are getting GPFs when you are away from the computer or during durations when your computer is stopped, try to stop power running and screen savers to ensure that they are not causing your issue.

    Hi

Might be this is an Operating System issue, It is likely for Windows or an overwritten Windows related file to cause a General defense liability. Most normally the General Protection liability with Explorer and other file, try to reinstall your working system to resolve the issue.

    Hi

I think there is a Bad memory or other bad hardware, If you have followed the entire above all the steps and continue to experience GPFs its likely hardware inside your computer may also be bad. Often bad memory is the primary cause for random GPFs.
