How to hide a file in MS-DOS?
If you want to hide a file in MS-DOS there are two ways of hiding the files in MS-DOS. The first way is by the means of the attrib command, this command will secrete your autoexec.bat file so as a ordinary user browsing your hard disk drive would not be able to see the file. For making the file unhidden use -h as an alternative of the +h. Even though When the file is hidden, a user might still type edit c:\autoexec.bat and still be capable to edit the file, or if the user typed attrib this would list all the files with their attributes.
The other way of using ASCII font when creating the list or renaming it.
