Default I can not detect the server network card

Above all, we already have that to Edulinux installed at a school function so perfect in 7 terminals.

I'm installing on a Pentium IV with 2 GB of RAM, dual core Intel mother board onboard network, the problem is that edulinux not detected and I do not know how to detect it. Whether or not to test with two network cards. I advised?

But the main thing is that I want to learn how to detect from edulinux
    Thanks.

I detect a network card encore off board to add. but without being able to detect the onboard.

Mew this function perfectly, I do inclusive boot Pentium 100, which previously could not, the only thing is that I took only 256 colors...

    Hello again,

The problem should not be so easy to solve, if not detected because the server automatically, you have to add the module "by hand" and that would have to see what chipset the board, and then find the driver for network card.

If Intel is probably on the page is the Intel Linux driver for the network card. Lowering the driver, read the README or INSTALL file, and then leave how to install it.

Another friend, Google it, but just need to know the chipset, and hopefully the network card that has the plate, and put that Linux + insurance solves the problem.

A second way is to simply buy another network card Linux compatible, and install on the server.

    Tell us how you will...

    Hi.

    Thanks for responding.

I have the chipset of the board, I know how to add it by hand without the graphical interface.

    Greetings.

    Hello again,
sorry for the delay in responding.

The initial search on the Internet at the manufacturer's page, the driver for Linux (a little patience because this is not so simple). Or maybe the description of the chipset, you can find the module that uses the network, and then in St. Google, search with that name plus the keyword Linux.
Tell us how you will ...
    Greetings!
