    Default Is this a virus

The Intel Execute Disable Bit message popped up. On the next reboot, I had a disk failure error after doing the post. It also rebooted it fruitfully after a shutdown. I also got the disk failure again. But, once again it booted fine after shutdown. I have not seen since the Execute Disable Bit message. I also ran the AVG, Spybot S&D, MS defender and updated the spyware blaster. But nothing found, but I am still suspicious. Could I have a virus in RAM or in a boot sector?

Hard to say that it is sure. There could be a Hard disk failure, RAM, or PSU problems as well. It doesn't harm to check with an additional free program. Try doing with the AVAST for instance.
