Thread: Card Reader disappears immediately

Yesterday I picked up a cheap internal card reader for my wife's computer. There is absolutely no brand on this thing at all. I have DYNEX in my own computer that I have never had problems with, how hard can it be right? It was working fine, but after the reboot the card reader is gone. I also made a research for the problem but no success. There are also no hardware conflicts in my computer. I have also tried all other devices but all the other devices are functioning except the card reader is not functioning in the computer?

Perhaps it has died, the USB connection is the straight for you that is the reason it is mostly active in the computer.

It's probable but not likely, that the indications are the too common in it. A quick Google search will also disclose that this might also happen all the time but nobody also seems to have an answer for it. Eventually I took it back and got a refund. I was able to go get a DYNEX like mine which will cost you less than 10$ and it will also read more types of cards. It will work perfectly on your computer.
