I recently have made a change in the routers to a NetGear 3500 wireless N router. I have several laptops with wireless cards. I also did not upgrade the cards when I got the new router so I consider that they are G type cards. I run a computer with an N card which I needed by the extended for a range of wireless service and with the new router, I no longer have a range problem with that computer. The older computer when they are connected with a wireless connection to the router then they will shut the router off, the computers work fine. If I bring the computers to another location that has wireless service will work okay. If I run them in my house with the router on, they go blue screen. I am also unable to find any kind of information about this type of problem; someone told me this may be due to the installation of new model router. Do I require replacing the cards in all of the computers or can go back to the Dell, or is there something else that can be done to resolve this problem. Many thanks for any help or suggestions that you can provide.
