Thread: Filter of MAC addresses

Newly I have bought a new HP printer and an error is occurring while trying to install it says that the problem may be that the MAC filter address is turned on and how can I turn it off of my orange live box? I’m also presently trying it in Windows XP computer which has a wireless orange broadband and error message is there when it reaches up to 100% and then says "printer setup failed"?

Version and patch level of Windows on all affected machines, i.e. XP (Home or Pro), SP1-SP2-SP3, Vista (Home, Business, Ultimate), etc.

Please give an exact explanation of your problem symptoms, as well as the exact text of any error messages.
• If you're making use of a wireless connection, which you have tried for a direct connection with a cable to see if that changes the symptoms?
• For wireless issues, have you disabled all the encryption on the router to see if you can connect that way?
