Default My computer is not identifying my mouse also its not scheduled in device manager

Please help.....I am making use of my keyboard keys in order to move my mouse keys but it has really got stuck in it. After a long time whole thing just came out fine on my diagnostic check but my mouse is not working at all. I have made several attempts for making it to work but nothing worked out. At first I considered that it was a bent point but not now. My keyboard has an USB port for a mouse but I’m not ready to buy another mouse unnecessarily. How can I fix it. I have also opened it in the safe mode and at a particular point it also showed me in the device manager as well as tried updating it but then I received a warning message that it may move my keyboard so I then canceled it and tried restarting my computer. After showing the device manager it displayed that no mouse has been installed and also my installation wizard didn't locate it at all. I am not aware that how can I repair it if it doesn't show up at all????? Please help...I don't know how often I can get to this site but I can check my email so please someone...I would really appreciate it.

A mouse is so cheap for buying it appears to be unwise for messing with it and trying to get it to work on it!!!

: If it's a PS/2 mouse, then you will require to power off the computer totally for getting the mouse back. (Also confirm that it's plugged in, of course). If it's USB, then try doing the unplugging it and plugging it back in it might start working... or else you will have to try a different USB port if it doesn't work with it. (Plugging into a new port which generally forces the Windows for reinstalling the drivers in the computer again.)

Yes, you'll also require disconnecting the mouse totally before you try to rebooting and also making an attempt for getting anymore life out of it. If the mouse is failing from your device manager list, this indicates that it might tend to recommend that there's a physical difficulty which may be with the mouse itself. They're not costly for replacing it, but also try disconnecting and rebooting the mouse first!

I had the similar problem with my laptop , there is no solution for what I have did it , but I didn’t get the mouse at all, so I bought a new one from a different brand and it worked out with my problems , it seems that there are some mouse / brands who may be having problems with win 2k , my laptop and my desktop , both of it have win2 k on it , and both are encountering with the same problems with Logitech , if that’s that what you have got ,I will recommend you to try with another brand , its better if you opt for another mouse which may also be the cheapest
