Thread: Installed hard disk and XP, the file seems to be corrupted

My father who is having dell, which is basically a work computer. He has installed a new HDD and has also installed XP on it. There is a original disk which has 2000 on it. The problem is that Windows 2000 is not booting correctly. I also receive an error message which says that the file is been corrupted.

The installation of XP's had begun in 2000, the drive which is on the dell does not work at all so I have installed XP from the remote drive for functioning of the computer. 2000 no longer works on my computer, XP works very easily it just need to install the drivers. But what may be the reason for 2000 which is not working. I have also tried disconnecting it from the SATA drive which is the new one, this also did nothing to my computer.

How do I get 2000 back as working again?
