    Default Help with PC configuration

Hello look good I just put a good buy and really long bios does not put me only and it is armed.

    characteristics of the pc:

    AMD Phenomx4 9550
    ECS Geforce 9800GT
    2GB PC2-6400 MHz Ram

    My queries are:

1 move any BIOS configuration for good performance if you do not overclock work well?
2 Install Windows XP with IDE mode set for the disk this diminishes the speed record?
3 A configuration in the bios I think the technology of these second technologies. Video card says it is 2.0.And if you have some good tips on these items would be helpful

I update the bios to the latest version available.

Hey, if the SATA hard drive you're not using RAID, IDE configuration is what we share.

Personally I leave the First Boot device active (Hard Disk Boot Priority) with the hard drive that I have the OS and then disable the rest (2, 3.4), I do not need the OS to locate CD or floppy drive booster, the completely disable the floppy drive.

Active CPU Internal Cache and External Cache for while continuing to use terminology that was for the old CPU, it currently refers to the function L3 Cache have many modern CPU.

The serial port does not use so I cancel out (your letter and usually do not bring), as well as whether there are parallel ports.

IDE DMA transfer assets access, Prefect Mode IDE, IDE HDD Block Mode and Init Display First PCI-E if I have a PCI-E graphics.

If I have a function to disable ports PCI and PCI-E inactive, to put it all.
If you have memories of quality control on the label the actual working voltage, if not put the Bios by default 1.90v

Then in the OS there are a number of other functions for better performance parameters such as disabling all services that the flow of mortals does not use parameters the L2 cache memory that Windows by default makes the 256, when the Most CPUs today come with 512 or 1024, parameter RAM to download the DLL which always accumulates, if you're interested in what you publish.

    Hi

They say up here, basically you have to tweak the OS, disabling services that you have not ever ... difference is not equal, but good, one might.
