Thread: CD Rom creates sound while reading

I have 2 CD Rom drives and whenever I try using those for reading my CDs it produce some motionless sound but when I tried playing in another drive it work fine I even tried the lens cleaner to prevent this problem is there any solution I would be very thankful for your help?

I think so it might be a hardware problem you should check your cable all connected to your CD ROM or you can try interchanging the cable of both the drive and check whether it working fine if not the cables are good. If still the sound is being heard their some problem relating to the read/write lens of the drive.
