By replacing the older power supply which is 145 watts to almost 480 w will not create a problem but check whether your motherboard is AT model or ATX as all the new motherboard are ATX and even the power connectors are designed for ATX motherboard if you are having the AT motherboard you want be able to fix ATX the power supply connectors to yours motherboard or just remove the power supply and show it to the computer dealer and he will provide you the perfect model.
