Thread: CD drive problem

I mostly use my CD drive to play the games but I have recently noticed that whenever I try to play games the computer shutdown it happen only when I am playing the game with the help of CD drive?

As it is interesting concept try to play another CD games and check that the computer shutdown and if not the issue was relating to the game and still if the shutdown with the other game CD switch off your computer and unscrew the cabinet and change the power connector of the drive an even replace the IDE data cable with the new one and check the computer shutdown while playing games and if the problem continues you need to change the CD drive and they are very cheaply available in the market.
