    Default Disk boot failure

    As I start up my computer it display an error disk boot failure and insert a bootable disk so what should I try to get it solved?

    It is related to your operating software and the files are being corrupted and you need to insert the Windows bootable disc to start the boot from the disc and you should change the boot disc priority as CD ROM and it will booting up from the CD or else check all the power connectors as well as the ribbon data cable of the hard drive and check if the error is being displayed and windows XP boots up or try to fix the drive n another machine as secondary drive so that you can recover the data.
    If the hard drive is being identified by the computer it is relating to the software mostly it happens due to software corrupted files an you need to reinstall or repair your operating system
