PortQry select the computer in three ways, the status report, TCP and UDP ports to report the status of the port.
Listening
A process is listening on a port on the computer you choose. Portqry.exe received a response from the port.
Not listening
No process is listening on that port on the target system. PortQry is that the UDP port "message, the Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP) in the" Destination Unreachable - Port Unreachable received. Or if the TCP port to port, Portqry TCP reset flag is set to receive a confirmation packet.
Filtering
Have been filtered, the selected port on the computer. PortQry did not receive a response from the port. A process and may not be listening on the port. By default, TCP ports are queried three times and indicates that filtering UDP ports are queried once before reporting the port.
Network address and the address of the internal or external DNS name can be used. To Exchange Web services or port services or TPC, UDP queries KUERISABISU can use both. PortQry is a free download from Microsoft.
