Default Find quiet parts of a file server

I want to build a file server for home use to high demands on the noise from it. 3 main noise devices are in BP, on the rock and the hard drive itself.

That can advise (specific models) for as little as possible noise?

The general postulates - building with noise-protecting and Coolers.

The rest depends on the specific configuration (how many and what type of HDD, which require performance, etc., etc.)

Indeed, without a corpus Antec BP stands as Ascot with BP, and if you really need a high quality quiet BP, it is better just to buy Antec + Chieftec.

"Dead" processor with passive cooling (it is the fan blows from BP) and low "cold" hard like a WD Green, or the latest models of Samsung, which last for blowing one 12cm fan.

Then you can do a cheaper casing.

I have not chosen something like that and then it is better in terms of silence.

Urban, why do I complete my configuration will be an old iron-type seleron 2, 0 HS, and shell (just type the cube). I thought the cooling system! BP may be passive at all; pressures on him will not great 3d games are not the same. And will be 25 and not even 20tr. it will screw on 2tb current wait a little bit, but it will still happen!

    It is very interesting.

    1. Power supplies with passive cooling are typically very expensive - much more than offer you the "boxes".

    2. Seleron 2.0 is quite "hot" guy - with run it must be very careful. And the radiator must be truly gigantic proportions. As if this fit into the shell-type "cube" - is unclear.

While at an independent body able to offer proven option - to give additional heat pipes heat from the radiator to the CPU on the sidewall of the shell.

He was very quiet (and a large flow cannot wait to replace the processor cooler, it will not be able to).

BP passive cooling just rare and not much more expensive than usual! And about the procedures: encourage a "cold" percent does not necessarily modern.

It was originally to clarify that is and what is needed. Based on the information in the subject, I gave general advice, you can only required components. However, it is necessary to bear in mind that I have you already wrote.

Passive BP does not make sense (except in rare exceptions to your case can hardly be attributed).

You alone determine how someone is? And even better at Intel immediately see their consumption of the processor (there in a couple of clicks to do this, you need only know the number of procedures). With this in mind and think.
