Check your system manual for the type of motherboard you are using. If you do not have the manual, log on to the HP website, search for the model number of your computer and check the specifications for the same to find the motherboard chipset and model number. You can also use the tool 'Everest Home Edition' to get the specifications of your motherboard. Depending on the motherboard type, you will be able to know if your system can support a PCIe graphics card and if it can be upgraded to 2 GB of memory or more. If you are not confident on doing the above, ask an engineer or a friend who knows about computers to help you with the same.
