Can you please tell me how I can make my 160 GB external hard drive readable on my DVD player which has a USB port? The player supports pen drives up to 16 GB. I can't find any information on this, so I thought you can help. Thanks.

Usually DVD players can only recognize the external drives up to a certain capacity.Check the manual of the DVD player if there are any limitations of capacity mentioned in it. Also check on the manufacturer's website for any information. You could try using a different external hard drive with the player and check if the problem is with a particular brand of external storage drives. Alternatively, it could also be possible that the player is not recognizing the type of partition format of the hard drive. Tryformatting the external hard drive using FAT or FAT32 and check if the player accepts it. Please send me the name and model number of the player so I can also check on the problem and help solve it.
