The Office clipboard automatically opens at the border of the program while you are copying data from one Office application to another. You do not use it at all-so you want to get rid of it entirely.
Start any program of your choice from the Microsoft Office Suite If this application functions with the new Office 2007 multi-function bar, click on the small arrow in the title bar of the 'Clipboard' in the 'Start' tab.
In all the older Office applications and Outlook 2007, you can open the menu command by navigating 'Edit I Office Clipboard'. In both cases, the data container starts at the left or right border of the application.
Now click on 'Options' appearing at the bottom of the panel which has opened
up. Uncheck the box in front of the 'Show Office Clipboard Automatically' option and close the temporary memory with the small cross in the top right corner. Now Office opens the clipboard only when you explicitly open it through the multi-function bar or the menu.
