Thread: I Can't install Yahoo Messenger

I have had the latest Beta version of Yahoo! Messenger for some time now and I have been using it without any serious issues. But now there are problems that are arising. The problem is as soon as I press the sign-in button, the window of Yahoo! Messenger automatically closes. I have tried re-installing the Yahoo! Messenger application, but the problem still persists. Please help.

Similar problems are being faced by many using Yahoo Messenger. This is due to additional programs running in the background such as desktop enhancements utilities and at times Windows Blinds. Check if you have any of them and either disable it or uninstall them and try using Yahoo messenger again. Also, we would recommend that you uninstall Yahoo messenger completely, use good registry cleaner software to remove any traces of the messenger from the registry and restart the machine. If possible, download the latest version of Yahoo Messenger from the Internet and try again. Your problem should be solved. Ensure that you have a good and active updated anti virus too.
