If these boxes are not visible, click the Location link in the Tasks pane to the left-hand side of the screen. The information which is entered here will be saved for future use in much the same way as Internet Explorer's Autocomplete feature. Move to the description section of the left-hand Tasks pane and it is possible to enter further information about the photograph. Fill in the Title and Headline fields as appropriate and move to the Description box. Here, there are a couple of options. In manual mode, any text can be entered, while ticking the' Auto copyright' box will generate a copyright message based on when the photograph was taken.
Move to the date Time section of the Tasks pane and it is possible to adjust the timestamp of an image. In most cases, selecting the option labelled 'Use the ExifCapture date as the master' will be all that is required to assign the correct date and time to an image, but adjustments can be made if the date was not correctly set on the camera. Select the box labelled 'Adjust the date(s) by' and use the arrow to make adjustment by day, hour, minute and second.
Even more information can be added to photographs by moving to the others and Categories section of the Tasks pane. The predefined data fields can be used as required to enter any information about the image that may be needed at a later date. Moving to the Shot section will display information about the camera settings that were in use when the photo was taken, while the Camera section displays more general information about the camera that was used. Finally, use the Photographer section to add information about the person who took the photograph.
