Getting an OpenlD ?
I have seen several websites that have invited me to sign in wit an OpenlD.lt sounds like a good idea, but I don't know how to get one.

The idea behind OpenID is that you can use one usemame and password for many different websites.lt is very similar to the Microsoft Passport scheme, but with many providers of OpenID accounts. In fact, it is even possible to create your own, but this is not really worth the effort, as there are plenty of other providers offering OpenID accounts at no cost.
Another page will appear with a captcha password and a tick box to agree to extra tenns and conditions. Enter the password as it appears in the picture and then left-click in the box so that a tick appears .
Once you have entered the captcha password and agreed to the extra terms and conditions, the congratulations page appears. Now when signing into websites that require an OpenID, you can simply type yahoo site or click on the Yahoo! Button if there is one on the page.
It is also possible to create a custom identifier. We don't recommend using your Yahoo account name, as this may leave you open to spam. Instead, type something else in the textbox and then left-click on the Check Available link. If a green circle with a tick appears, the name is free to use. Click on Save my Customisation; this cannot be reversed, so a warning will appear. If you are happy to continue, click on the Yes button.
It is also a good idea to create a Sign-In Seal. This is a secret password that is stored on the computer as an extra means of security. It is not copied to other computers, so this process will need to be repeated for each computer you use.
It is not a mandatory step, but worth the couple of minutes required to set up. Click on the Create a Sign-In Seal link and follow the instructions.
The seal can either be a secret text message or an image from your computer. Click on the 'Create a Text' link and then type a message of up to 21 characters. Click on 'See More Colours' to choose a different colour scheme, then click on Preview. Click on Save This Seal and then OK if you are happy with the seal.
