Can a laptop be customized further for better gaming performance?

In this case the answer would be a yes and a no. Yes would be that there are possibilities by heavily tweaking your operating system and make it perform faster. But games that would require a graphics card would not run anyways.

A laptop cannot be upgraded in any aspect (except for the memory and hard drive). Hence you cannot install a graphics card and make the laptop perform as a gaming computer. I would say that you cannot do anything to increase the performance of the laptop by upgrading the hardware.
