UK Corporation Direct Insight recently declared the TRITON-TX51 SODIMM format system-on-module with Freescale’s influential i.MX515 multimedia microprocessor featuring 800MHz ARM Cortex-A8 core with Neon VFP component. The SoM contain also on-chip Ethernet, PowerVR graphics system with OpenGL ES 2.0 as well as hardware apprehended video codec and sustain 720p resolution.

It includes 128MB mobile DDR including 128MB NAND flash. It present an extensive series of interfaces with USB HOST, USB On-the-Go, 24-bit LCD, TV out, Audio out, as well as RS232 enclosing SD card slots. It is compatible with Windows CE 6.0 as well as Linux 2.6.

The Direct Insight TRITON-TX51 will be presented for sale in month of January 2010.
