Simmtronics has announced its latest netbook, the Simmbook. The offering is powered by the Intel Atom processor, which delivers the performance for applications like emailing, web surfing and instant messaging. In a black, blue or red color chassis, it comes with a 10.2-inch LCD screen with 1024x600 resolution. The piano finish Simmbook has a 160 GB SATA HDD and 1GB DDR2 667MHz memory. The Simmbook also comes with 802.11 big, a 1.3-mexapixel camera, 10/100 Ethernet, audio/video ports, three USB ports and supports operating systems like Windows XP SP2 and Ubuntu 9.10. It weighs about 1.2 Kgs with a 3-cell Li-ion battery pack, and also provides the option for a 6-cell Li-ion battery pack. The Simmbook also comes bundled with K7 Antivirus Software with one year validity.
