Thread: I want to buy a laptop?

I plan to buy a laptop soon which will be used for website designing, database management and Java programming. I am confused between two brands - Dell and Lenovo. My budget is around Rs. 35,000 and I'd like to get at least a Core 2 duo and at least 2GB RAM. Also, it would be good if it comes with genuine Windows 7.1 give equal importance to after purchase service of the product and I'm not aware of any Dell service center here. Please help me on this.

I think from among the two brands you have mentioned you will find only Pentium Dual Cores for that price range. For a little more, and as little as Rs. 37,000 or so, you can pick up a notebook from Lenovo with 3 G B of RAM and a decent Core 2 Duo in the range of the T6600 (2.2 GHz).
