Spyware, hacking and malware kill on open ports on PC to take data or demolish system data. Ports are like tunnels. Every port opened or closed to permit data to pass through from remote system, or blocked totally. Firewalls control access to system via ports, and other programs legally utilize open ports. Windows has firewall system that utilized to block or open ports.

Instructions

• Go to "Start". Click "Control Panel."

• Go to "Network and Internet Connections." Click "Firewall Settings." Choose "Exceptions" tab. Click "Add Ports". Enter name and port number you need to block. Press "OK" to save changes. A port should be included before it's blocked.

• Go to "General" tab in Windows Firewall section. Remove test out mark from port name that made in Step 2. That port must now be blocked.
