You often use the integrated search function of the browser for websites. You can start this function using the key combination [Ctrl) + [Fl. But is there a faster way to search through pages?

Firefox can start searching through a page automatically without you having to do anything. To activate this function, open "Tools I Settings" and click the "Advanced" icon. Then switch to the "General" tab. Activate the "Search for text when I start typing" option under "Accessibility".

Confirm the setting change with "OK". As long as the cursor is not placed in an input field, you just need to type what you want to search for, and Firefox will automatically display the quick search bar at the bottom of the window. The bar also disappears automatically if you do not type anything for three seconds.
