    Default Open File Security caution

    Hi. I am using a computer system installed with windows Vista operating system. I have checked the "Always Ask" checkbox for the "Open File - Security Warning" prompt, but it continues to prompt when I run a program. . Please help me to get rid of this problem. Thanks in Advance.

    To fix this issue follow these simple steps:

    • Run the program and ensure to uncheck the "Always ask before opening this file" option.

    • Go to the files Properties window and click the 'Unblock' button.

    You can also fix this problem without running the program by using the command prompt:

    1. Click start and then Type: command prompt

    2. Right-click command prompt, and click run as administrator

    3. Browse to the folder where the application .exe is stored

    4. Issue the following commands:

    move filename.exe filename.bak
    type filename.bak > filename.exe

    5. delete filename.bak
