Thread: Threshold control in Photoshop

Hi. I am learning Photoshop. I am new in Photoshop world. I am practice different command but I want some more information on Threshold command in Photoshop. If you are having any information then reply me. It can helpful to me.

To get the brightest highlights or the darkest shadows, using the Threshold command makes this a simple task.

You can use Threshold mode while in the Levels palette, this manner you can keep away from going to the menu.

• Choose Image>> Adjust>> Levels

• The Levels dialog box will now come out

• Hold down the Alt/Opt key while dragging the Highlight and Shadow Input sliders

• The image provisionally enters Threshold mode permit you to watch exactly where the darkest and lightest pixels exist in.

• Let go the mouse button and the image go back to Levels mode.
