Arranging a router to work by a dsl modem?

Connection

Attach the router to the DSL modem. Place one end of an Ethernet cable in the port labeled "WAN" or "Internet" on router. Attach another end of the Ethernet cable to the modem in the port labeled "LAN."

Set Up

Configure the router. Utilize the settings provide to you by Internet service supplier to fill in the WAN settings for router. In few examples you will easily set the router to animatedly obtain the settings from the Internet service supplier. In other cases, you will require to physically enter the IP address, subnet mask, gateway address and DNS settings.

Reboot

Reboot the router to save the settings.
