    Default SPYWARE subject

    I had to switch to Linux for a couple of days and i ran XP on my desktop computer. When I boot my PC that time my start screen says "There is Spyware detected on this computer. Please install an antivirus or Spyware remover to clean computer". But I have installed updated antivirus software on my computer then why this program didn't protect my computer to start with? What I need to do in this situation please help me out from this issue. Any help would be highly appreciated.

    Follow the given instruction to get rid from spyware:

    • Avoid toolbars if you would like to protect your PC from a spyware infection.

    • Keep away from certain P2P file sharing programs and networks if you would like to keep spyware off your PC.

    • Keep your copy of Windows updated continuously, and use the updated version your web browser.

    • Get active with your software protection if you want to get rid of spyware
