For some reason known only to the creators of Google Earth; movies created in WMV format by Google Earth cannot be imported using the "Insert I Movies and Sounds" option.

This option will work for other WMV files, but not for WMV files created with Google Earth. So follow the instructions of the appropriate PowerPoint version that you are using.

If you use PowerPoint 2002 or newer:
o Right-click on a slide and select "Slide Layout".
o Choose any slide layout that has the option to "Click icon to add content".
o Click on the camcorder image in the lower right of the icon block. (When you hover over it, it displays "Insert Media Clip"!.
