Most cell phones use the .3gpp [or .3gpp2l format to record videos. Windows Media Player doesn't recognize this format. Apple's Quicktime player can help

you with this problem; it supports the .3gpp format. The 3GPP and 3GPP2 standards are based on the Quick Time file format and you can view MMS clips on Quicktime 6.5or later versions of it. Download it from:/ quick time/download.

In case you want to playa video on your cell phone, you can convert the file to .3gpp using Xilisoft 3GP Video Converter. Download this from:/down loa d six -3g pvideo-converter.exe

o Open the video you want to convert in Xilisoffs Convertor.
o You will have to select the settings depending on the format that you want to convert the video to. Select .3gp in the profile.
o If you can do without the audio, then disable the audio encoding process by selecting "Disable Audio" under the "Audio" section by selecting "True". By disabling the audio, the file size will reduce considerably. Once converted, you can transfer the file to your a cable or wirelessly.
