Thread: Only one speaker seems to work

First, examine your speaker cable connections. Check the connection that links the soundcard to the speakers. The soundcard connector is generally at the back of the computer cabinet and is denoted by a light green connector.

Ensure that the cable is firmly connected to the green audio connector and that the other end is connected properly to the speakers' input jack-which is also usually green. Improper connections could prevent both speakers from producing sound together, so it is recommended that you check these connections regularly.
