If you have a habit of having snacks while you're at the PC, the keyboard too becomes a part of the feast I So remember-'Never eat while you're at the PC'.
The layer of grime formed at the base of the keyboard is the prime reason for keys getting stuck and not releasing, especially the bigger keys
like [Enter], [Shift] and [Backspace]. Hitting the keys hard out of frustration will further worsen the case. Here's the solution.
Insert the head of a 'minus' screwdriver under the affected key and gently push it down like a lever to pluck the key out of the keyboard. Clean the area under the key with a dab of cotton and fit the key back.
