My friend just gave me a laptop. He says it crashes if he connects it in, but it yet charges. I checked it out and it works well in safe mode, which I am utilizing currently now. In normal mode it stops reacting when you plug it in to charger. As it works in safe mode and yet charges also, I don't think it’s a difficulty with cables or power supply.
