This issue occurs because the computer's BIOS (Basic Input/ Output System) in some cases does not recognize the Bluetooth keyboard, and therefore fails to detect any keyboard. This is recognized as an error, so during boot-up an error is displayed and the system halts.

To resolve this issue, disable the "Halt on error" function in the BIOS. To determine how to access the BIOS and disable this function, read the manual that was supplied with your computer, or contact the computer manufacturer.

If you disable the "Halt on error" function in the BIOS, you may still receive the error message, but the computer will go on to start. After Microsoft Windows has started, you will see that the Bluetooth devices work as expected.

If you cannot disable the "Halt on error" function, you can attach a PS/2 keyboard to the computer to avoid getting this error message.
