The scary removal from this survey is that 25 percent of the respondents adjust to just switching off their security material because they think that it hurt the work of the machine said Avira’s Sorin Mustaca. That’s not a better idea because such a practice leaves the computer completely open to the even normal of viruses letting the bad guys to put it in a botnet used to separate malware and phishing.

Avira tells that the survey questions were put to major than 100 million Avira consumer around the world during November 2010 although the answer are relied on 9,091 respondents. Avira says the end of mistakes for the responses is between 0.28 and 1 percent. Although if the user were self selecting it’s hard to know how good the results comes to general computer users or even to Avira’s consumer.
