Thread: Linking Canon MV850i Camcorder

I'd like to attach my Canon MV850i camcorder to HP Presario CQ60 220EV without Firewire slot or PCMCIA Cardbus, just an MMC port. Any sugestion?

You can use the likes of the Pinnacle Studio Moviebox that has a firewire input and join it to a laptop through USB, but I'm not confirm how well this perform as I would require it to compress the video on capture as USB is not up to uncompressed real time alteration from a miniDV camcorder.

I guess was right that it's very hard to handle it but I hope that technology could get answer of this. Anyway, I continue using my native PC. Thanks a lot for reply!
